Autoclave. <br>

Next, prepare the agar: <br>

| 16 g | 24 g | Agar |
| 1 ml | 1.5 ml | Antifoam (5%) |
| 333 ml | 500 ml | dH<sub>2</sub>O |

Next, prepare the sugar (0.2%): <br>

Autoclave. <br>

After the 3 parts have been autoclaved, combine the contents of the three flasks together while they are still warm add the following stock solutions: <br>

| 1.0 ml | 1.5 ml | 10% Magnesium Sulfate MgSO<sub>4</sub> (separately autoclaved stock)  |
| 1.0 ml | 1.5 ml | 0.2% Thiamin (vitamin B1) (filter sterilized stock) |
