YPD Medium

General media used for culturing Yeast. Adapted from Cold spring harbor

In 1 L bottle:

1L Component
20g Peptone
10 g Yeast Extract

  • Dissolve above in ~900 mL water.
  • Bring to 950 mL (final volume will be 1L after autoclaving)

In separate 500mL bottle, prepare 40% Glucose w/v
