For making 1.5 liters of DM agar do the following:
Combine the following in a 2 L flask (including magnetic stir bar):

Add 500 ml of dH2O, cover with tin foil and autoclave.
Next, prepare the agar in a 1 liter flask (including magnetic stir bar) by adding the following:

Antifoam (5%) |
Add 500 ml of dH2O, cover with tin foil and autoclave.
Next, prepare the sugar in a separate 1 liter flask by adding the following:

Add 500 ml of dH2O, cover with tin foil and autoclave.
After autoclaving combine the contents of the three flasks into the larger flask and add the following stock solutions:
